Personalized Speech & Language Therapy for Kids

Individualized speech and language therapy designed around your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals—with care that feels supportive, engaging, and personal.

Helping kids communicate with greater confidence - in therapy and in everyday life.

How We Can Help

Every child communicates differently. Therapy starts with understanding your child’s strengths, challenges, and the situations where communication matters most.

Speech Clarity

Support for children who are difficult to understand, have trouble producing certain sounds, or use speech patterns that make communication challenging.

Language

Support with understanding language, expressing thoughts and ideas, building vocabulary, answering questions, following directions, and organizing information.

Social Communication

Support with conversation, perspective-taking, reading social situations, self-advocacy, and communicating effectively with others.

Fluency & Voice

Individualized support for children who stutter or have concerns related to the quality, pitch, volume, or use of their voice.

Not sure exactly what your child needs? That’s okay. We can help you determine the right next step.

Therapy Designed Around Your Child

Effective therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We build therapy around your child—their strengths, interests, communication needs, and the goals that matter most in everyday life.

Individualized

Therapy goals and activities are thoughtfully tailored to your child, with sessions designed to meet them where they are and help them move forward.

Engaging

Kids learn best when they’re involved. Sessions incorporate their interests, play, movement, and meaningful activities to keep communication practice motivating and relevant.

We focus on skills that carry beyond the therapy session—helping children communicate more successfully at home, at school, and with the people around them.

Connected to Real Life

Meaningful progress starts with therapy that fits the child - not the other way around.

Therapy That Fits Into Their Day

Private therapy should support your child without adding unnecessary stress to your family’s schedule. Expressive Mind offers flexible options designed to make individualized speech and language therapy easier to access.

Teletherapy

Convenient virtual sessions provide individualized speech and language therapy from home when teletherapy is an appropriate fit for your child’s needs and goals.

At School or Aftercare

With school or program permission, private speech and language therapy may be provided during the school day or aftercare hours—giving children individualized support in a familiar setting while making therapy easier to fit into busy family schedules.

To provide highly individualized care, private therapy availability is intentionally limited. Sessions may be offered at participating schools or aftercare programs, with permission, as well as through teletherapy when appropriate.

We’ll work with your family to determine the therapy option that best fits your child’s needs and schedule.

Getting Started Is Simple

Clear goals. Individualized support. Meaningful progress.

Start With a Conversation

Tell us what you’re noticing, what concerns you, and what you’d like your child to be able to do more confidently.

Determine the Right Next Step

We’ll review your concerns and available information to determine whether an evaluation, therapy, or another recommendation is the best place to start.

Create a Personalized Plan

If therapy is recommended, we’ll develop individualized goals based on your child’s strengths, needs, and the communication skills that matter most in everyday life.

Build Skills That Carry Over

Therapy focuses on meaningful progress, with opportunities to collaborate with families and other members of your child’s team when appropriate.

Better Communication Takes a Team

Children use communication everywhere—not just during therapy. With parent permission, Expressive Mind can collaborate with the people who know and support your child, including school speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other professionals.

Sharing goals, strategies, and observations can help create greater consistency and more opportunities for children to use their communication skills throughout their day.

Because the goal isn’t just progress in therapy—it’s communication that works in real life.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Let’s talk about what support could look like for your child.

Every child’s communication needs are different. If you have questions about your child’s speech, language, or social communication, we can help you determine the right next step.
